ETL Certification

ETL certification is a proof of product compliance to North American safety standards. ETL stands for Electrical Testing Laboratories, which is the testing and certification division of Intertek Testing Laboratories. The ETL Mark is one of the certification industry’s most widely known and respected marks. It is accepted by Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and code officials across the US and Canada as proof of product compliance to published industry standards. ETL mainly focuses on ensuring the safety of electrical and electronic products, even if it also covers different categories of products.
